WRITE A DIARY ABOUT ONE WEEK IN YOUR LIFE THIS THIRD TERM

I want to talk about the week of Italy. One day before the trip, we were very nervous. It was a fantasic week full of different things. We spend 5 days toghether visiting cities, eating pasta and ice-creams, laughing, joking... We had some arguments during the trip, but I think it's normal. The best cities that we had visited were Venezia and Milano, I suppose because we had a lot of free time in there. About the nights, we couldn't go out a lot, but it was OK. When we arrived in Banyoles, I missed a lot the streets of Italy, fulls of people and light, and also my friends. I woke up alone and it was strange. Banyoles it was too empty and coming back was hard.

INTERVIEW TO NOEMI

Noemi said that she was feeling stressed today because the final exams were coming, and she told me that she couldn't live without her mobile phone and her computer. She gets angry when her young sister takes her things without asking before. If she could be anywhere in the world at this moment, she would be in Phoenix.
Noemi hasn't got a great memory, but she remembers how she felt on the first day at her school. She was scared because she thought that the school was too big for her. The best holiday she had ever had was in Germany.
She's always positive about the future. I asked if the planet would be a better place in a hundred years, and she answered that she thinks so. When she's older, Noemi would like to live in Barcelona, because she likes the city. She promised that she would do Batxillerat this year.

ITALY

The trip in general was great. We spent a long time together and now, we are more friends than before. We visited a lot of cities, but the city where I enjoyed most were Milà, because it's a wonderful place with this big galeries and because everybody was tired. It was funny. Venezia is on e of my favourites too. We went shopping a lot, however, all the products in Italy were very expensive. For example, a Cocacola costed 4€. I'll explain some curiosities of the trip: For example, the history of Judit and her loader. Judit said ALL THE TIME in EVERY PLACES that her loader of the mobile was lost, so at the end everybody laugh and told her: Judit, come on, shut up! Also, we had little arguments, but I think that's normal and I didn't worry about it, because I know that we love each other a lot. About the nights, we went out only one day at the disco of the hotel and until 12 a.m. We'd liked to go out more, but it's OK. We were waiting for this trip and it's already finished. I believe that this trip is unforgettable. I imagined it more or less this way, and I'm happy about it.

A LETTER: EXPLAINING A PROBLEM

I've had a problem recently. Two of my friends are going out and the boy loves her a lot, but she isn't interested so much in the relationship and she flirts with other boys. I'm worried and angry at the same time.

I'm worried because I don't want that my friend, the girl, hurts him because I love him a lot. I'm a little angry with her because if she doesn't love him enough, whe has to tell him. She can't flirt with other people while she's going out with him. I think that I have to tell him the truth. Telling him that his girlfriend is flirting with other boys is the best solution, although she's my friend. Doing this, it's possible that my friend don't want to talk to me in a period of time because she'd be angry. I'll understand her, But I believe that she has to understand me, too. My position is very difficult. Another solution is not to say anything, but I don't know...

I'd really like some advice because I have to do something now and because I'd like the opinion of someone else.

A DIARY ENTRY

Alex, my classmate, stole a CD from a shop and he lied to the police saying that he was in my house. I lied to my parents to protect him, but a security video from the shop shows him very clearly. In this moment I thought that what I've done was the correct.

I think that my friend was wrong because he mustn't steal thinkgs. It's illegal. So, he had to bring money if he wanted it. If I hadn't has any money, I would have to tell to my parents or to my friends and they would have given it to me.

I don't think that this will happen again because he was afraid when the police interviewed him and I hink that he felt bad. He's probably learned his lesson now.

Life story

I was born in Barcelona in 1993, but I've always lived in Banyoles, in a flat near the lake. It's in Sardana's street.
My earliest memory is very clear. It was the first day of school and I was very frightened. I didn't know anybody, but I made wonderful friends quickly. I also remember when my friends and I were in the Barbilan's Park. We were celebrating my birthday and we had a really good time.
I've been at Casa Nostra School since I was three. When I was young I'm very shy, now I'm more sociable and mature. One part of my body that changes a lot is my hair. Before was very straight and chestnut-brown and now is curly and dark.
When I finish secondary school, I study "Batxillerat". Before I'm old I really want to live abroad.

Jonas Brothers

The Jonas Brothers are an American pop-rock band. They're from New Jersey. The band consists of the three brothers: Kevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, and Nick Jonas. They've released three albums: It's About Time (2006), Jonas Brothers (2007), and A Little Bit Longer (2008). In 2008, the group was nominated for the Best New Artist award, but lost. And what's more... the Jonas appeared in the film Camp Rock.

How to get on with your parents

- My parents would be angry with me if I arrived too late at home.

- If I tidy my room every day, maybe they'll be more tolerant.

- If I want to get something, money for example, I'll have to be a good daughter.

- We wouldn't have so many arguments If my parents were more comprehensive.

- If my parents would listen to me more, they could understant my problems.

- If my parents bought me a new computes, I'll be happy.

- My father told me off if I don't wash my clothes.

- If my behaviour is great, they'll trust me.

- If I don't eat enough, my parents will be worry about me.

- If I want to go out with my friends, I'll have to be more responsible.

Discussion essay

A great invention has appeared in our lives: the Internet. Actually it's considered to be a good source of information that took importance approximately in 1995. The first reason why I say that it's a great invention is because before Internet was invented, people were looking for information only in the books, newspapers, or libraries... It was more difficult to find all that you wanted. Nevertheless, it had a great advantage that the Internet doesn't have: all the information that you find is true. Thanks to the Internet, the search is faster, more comfortable and more practical. In addition, we can communicate easier. On balance, I think that the better invention is the Internet because it's the best source of information that exists.

My last summer

This summer in general was great. As soon as the school finished we celebrated it in LA NAU. As every day of summer I got up late and I watched Tv until lunch time. After that, in the afternoon, I met my friends and we did different activities. Our special activity in summer is going to the Pierrot. In the first two weeks of August, Gemma and I went to Scotland. It was fantastic! Edinburgh is so wonderful, and we had a really good time. During the summer my friends and I did some more activities, for example: we went to l'Escala, to the Festes del Tura in Olot, we celebrated the Sant Joan together, we went to the hippie's festival... Although this summer is not the best, I'm happy about it.

The earthquake

This was the dramatic scene yesterday at Passeig de Gracia in Barcelona. A multitude of people was collapsed when the earthquake began.
The incident began at twelve o'clock. First, everything started trembling and the people didn't know what happened, but immediately they understood that it was an earthquake. People were very scared and immediately they called the firemen and the police.
They came as soon as the people called and the people were evacuated. The police and the firemen took them to a save place.
Finally, after two hours, all people went to in a save place. The earthquake caused several damages and accidents. The most serious was the one that we can see in the photo. One of the victims said, "It was the most frightening experience that I've ever had".
