WRITE A DIARY ABOUT ONE WEEK IN YOUR LIFE THIS THIRD TERM

I want to talk about the week of Italy. One day before the trip, we were very nervous. It was a fantasic week full of different things. We spend 5 days toghether visiting cities, eating pasta and ice-creams, laughing, joking... We had some arguments during the trip, but I think it's normal. The best cities that we had visited were Venezia and Milano, I suppose because we had a lot of free time in there. About the nights, we couldn't go out a lot, but it was OK. When we arrived in Banyoles, I missed a lot the streets of Italy, fulls of people and light, and also my friends. I woke up alone and it was strange. Banyoles it was too empty and coming back was hard.

THE PLOT

The film explains the life of Charles and his group of friends. Some of these have decided to marrying. Charles, although he always arrives late, goes to all the weddings. In the first, he meets Carrie, a beautiful American girl. He falls in love with her at first sight. They spend some nights toghether, until Carrie tells him that she is promised with Hamish, a very rich man of Scotland. Charles goes to their wedding and, later, Carrie also goes to the wedding of Charles. In the end, everything finishes well. Carrie tell him that she has slipt up with her husband and Charles admits that he loves Carrie with all his heart and, of course, he doesn't marry to Henrietta.

- What's your favourite scene/moment? Why?
My favourite moment is the scene of the end, when Carrie and Charles were under the rain. He said to her that she's the girl with he wants to share his life. They kissed and Charles said a beautiful phrase: Do you want to not marry me for the rest of your life?

- Anna Chancellor is Henrietta (Duckface): She's an exgirlfriend of Charles. But she still love him and they have to get married.

- David Bower is David: He's a Charles deaf brother. He's very goodlooking and he falls in love with Stella.


- James Fleet is Tom: He's the Fiona's brother. Innocent and a little stupid.





















- Simon Callow is Gareth: He loves parties and alcohol. He has got very humor and he's happy. He's homosexual and his boyfriend is Matthew.



- John Hannah is Matthew: He's a little serious and he's the boyfriend of Gareth.

My favourite character is Scarlett because she's a happy person, friendly and with always a smile in her face.

CONCLUSION: PERSONAL OPINION

I liked this film a lot, the plot is very amusing. I believe that Hugh Grant and Andy McDowell are great actors. If you are sad, you have to watch this film because the laughter is assured. It hasn't been very difficult to understand for me, the subtitles in english are helped me.

INTERVIEW TO NOEMI

Noemi said that she was feeling stressed today because the final exams were coming, and she told me that she couldn't live without her mobile phone and her computer. She gets angry when her young sister takes her things without asking before. If she could be anywhere in the world at this moment, she would be in Phoenix.
Noemi hasn't got a great memory, but she remembers how she felt on the first day at her school. She was scared because she thought that the school was too big for her. The best holiday she had ever had was in Germany.
She's always positive about the future. I asked if the planet would be a better place in a hundred years, and she answered that she thinks so. When she's older, Noemi would like to live in Barcelona, because she likes the city. She promised that she would do Batxillerat this year.
